Adam J. Baldinger

Adam Baldinger came to the MCZ in 1997 and served as the Curatorial Associate (Collection Manager) in the Department of Malacology until February 2022. In 2008, he became the Curatorial Associate (Collection Manager) in the Department of Invertebrate Zoology which now includes the extant echinoderms, bryozoans and urochordates once housed within the Department of Marine Invertebrates. He has overseen the growth of both departments through specimen acquisitions, coordinated many collections improvement projects along with the digitization of collections data. He supervises the day-to-day activities within the Department of Invertebrate Zoology, including the general care and curation of the collections. He is the point person for collection related information and loan requests.
