I am natural from Brazil, with B.Sc. in Biology and M.Sc. in Zoology from the University of Sao Paulo. I got a PhD from the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, William and Mary. I'm an aficionado in morphology and anatomy in general, and I used this source of knowledge to unveil systematics and relationships of sharks (masters) and toadfishes (phd).

In this postdoc, I will combine data from morphology with molecular information to clarify the taxonomy of dwarfgobies, genus Eviota, one of the most diverse genus of marine fishes.
