Jenny
Jenny is interested in the evolution of gene regulation and expression across mammalian species. She received my BS/MS in Biomedical Computation from Stanford in 2011, where she worked with Gill Bejerano on identifying human transcription factor binding sites under strong purifying selection. She then earned a PhD in Bioinformatics and Integrative Genomics (BIG) at MIT, where she worked with Aviv Regev developing statistical and computational methodologies for studying the evolution of gene expression and transcription. She is a currently a Harvard Data Science Postdoctoral Fellow interested in studying the evolution of regulatory mechanisms underlying innate behaviors of Peromyscus mice.
