Jonathan Losos received the Daniel Giraud Elliot Medal from the National Academy of Sciences. Losos is recognized for his research on adaptive radiation of Anolis lizards, the subject of his recent book Lizards in an Evolutionary Tree: Ecology and Adaptive Radiation of Anoles.
